“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi
In August, two OSU Master Gardener volunteers from the Grow an Extra Row Giving and Learning Garden were recognized for their remarkable service and contributions. Eve Freeman from West Linn and Nancy Muir from Milwaukie received the FOX 12, Les Schwab Tire Centers ‘Be the Change’ award, honoring volunteers who are making a positive difference in their community.
Eve and Nancy received the award for their dedicated volunteer service, as coordinators for the Grow and Extra Row Giving and Learning Garden. “We are honored and amazed we were selected, but it is a group effort, said Nancy Muir. “It is because of the dedication and work of our fellow Master Gardeners that this project is a success!”
Clackamas County Extension Service congratulates Eve, Nancy and all the other Master Gardeners volunteers at the garden who are taking action for the change they wish to see in the world!
