During COVID-19, the 4-H Youth Development Program turned to distance learning. In doing so, we discovered that many of our Latinx members lacked computers to participate in on-line programs, including school work. Through a partnership with Free Geek in Portland, 4-H was able to secure and deliver free laptop computers to 37 school-aged youth. These refurbished computers were restored by Free Geek and now serve an important purpose. If you have a used computer looking for a new home, please consider donating it to Free Geek.
