Juntos/4-H has kicked off and wrapped up 2025 providing many FAFSA/ORSAA nights and drop-in hours at the surrounding high schools, including Rex Putnam, Clackamas High School and Adrienne C. Nelson. More than 15 families have submitted their FAFSA/ORSAA application, placing them one step closer toward their youth’s higher educational future. Many of those youth also received support in applying to a multitude of colleges and universities, opening their doors toward an array of opportunities.

For those who may not be aware of what FAFSA/ ORSAA is, they are Federal and/or State funded applications that provide financial aid to families based on need. If you have navigated these applications before, you know that they can be a tedious process, ultimately turning into a barrier for many. Not knowing how to navigate the systems, whether it be due to a language barrier or overall lack of understanding based on the amount of information and documents asked for is a challenge Juntos/4-H is willing to tackle alongside families.
