FAMILY AND COMMUNITY HEALTH
The OSU Extension Service Family & Community Health (FCH) program promotes lifelong health and well-being for individuals, families, and communities. We partner with organizations throughout Clackamas County to support local and statewide initiatives that build healthy and equitable communities where all people can thrive through science-based education and outreach.
Our FCH Program staff manages community volunteers representing the Family Food Education (FFE), Master Food Preservers (MFP), and Family & Community Education (FCE) programs that deliver interactive and engaging educational programming focused on nutrition, food resource management, food preservation, food safety, emergency preparedness, and physical activity. These programs encourage healthy and safe choices, and also strengthen the local community food system.
