In 2025, the FCH team brought Food Hero resources through community tabling events, school partnerships, and local free food markets. At community events staff offered recipe tastings, shared budget friendly cooking tips, and handed out colorful Food Hero resources to help families make healthy choices at home. In schools, staff had supported nutrition education through food tastings, classroom activities, and classroom materials that encouraged students to try new fruits and vegetables. At free food markets, the connection was made directly with community members by providing quick and cost-effective recipes that matched available produce and offering practical ideas for stretching food dollars.
