COMMUNITY AND URBAN HORTICULTURE
Let’s Talk Plants!
Master Gardener volunteers talking all things plants at community event.
OSU Extension Service Master Gardener™ volunteers are educators, neighbors, and on-the-ground researchers who serve their community with solid training in science-based, sustainable gardening and a love of lifelong learning.
You can find Master Gardener volunteers at many community events, talking plants and providing solid gardening guidance. In 2023, Master Gardeners relished talking plants at a multitude of Clackamas County community events, including the Farmers Markets in Lake Oswego, Molalla, and Oregon City, where they connected with nearly 3,500 community members!
Throughout the year, gardeners can contact the metro area OSU Master Gardener Helpline for gardening support. Wondering when to harvest your winter squash, how to control an insect or successfully propagate some plants? You are just a click, call or email away from tried-and-true recommendations.
